Health in Motion

Everyday you are either move toward health or towards disease constantly walking in a gray area between total health and Sickness. Most people believe that they are in complete health and then just wake up one day with something like diabetes. The fact of the matter is every decision that is made throughout the whole day is either bringing you closer to health of pushing you away. You have to think of health as a marathon race slow and steady. It is extremely hard to wait to become healthier after you have spent 20 years building plaque in arteries or destroying the liver with drugs and alcohol. With that being said, it is never too late to do something the only set back is that sometimes there is damage done that can not be reversed. However, changing now will (no matter how old or how much damage is done) improve your health.

I want to take a few minutes and discuss a few quick checks that you can do immediately that will improve your health.

1. Throw out all your Pop. (diet or fully sugared) you need to get rid all of it.

2. Get out and do some sort of Exercise - our society is a more sedentary place now and as a whole we do not get the activity that we need make it a point to do 15 minutes everyday of something (walk, stretch, Yoga anything) I hear the excuse I am too tired by the end of the day to do the exercising. Then do it in the mourning and before you know it you will have all kinds of energy.

3. Eat Fruits and Veggies - Don't go through that drive through and get another burger and fries. Our bodies were designed to eat and process fruits and Vegetables and not all the chemicals and fats that our in the non-nutritious fast foods.

4. Get a partner to help keep you accountable. Myself I have people to keep me accountable for exercising and I have an app on my I-Pod that keeps me accountable on my diet. these things are necessities for health.
